Terms of Service
In plain English, before the detail
- This site is a catalogue and a front door. The courses themselves live on Udemy.
- When you buy a course, you buy it from Udemy, not from us. Udemy takes your payment, holds your account, and decides refunds under its own policy.
- Free course coupons are limited by Udemy’s rules, not ours. When an allocation is gone, it is gone, and we cannot make more before the next month.
- We tell you what a course covers. We do not promise what it will do for you — no job, no salary, no certification, no result.
- If something here matters to you, sections 4, 8 and 9 are the ones to read properly.
The rest of this page is the binding version.
1. Agreement
By using learnerscare.com, or any of our pages, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind that company.
You must be at least 16 to use this site, and at least 18 to join our partner programme or to enter a services agreement with us.
2. What this site is
learnerscare.com is a catalogue of online courses created and taught by LearnersCare, together with information about our partner programme and our course production service.
We are the instructor of the courses listed here. We are not a review site, a marketplace, or a neutral comparison service — see our Affiliate Disclosure.
3. Your account and your email
Some parts of this site ask for your email address in exchange for something — usually a free course coupon. You agree that the address you give us is yours and is accurate. What we do with it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
You may unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing does not revoke a coupon you have already redeemed.
4. Udemy: what we control and what we do not
4.1 Every course listed on this site is hosted and sold by Udemy, Inc., an independent company we do not own or control.
4.2 When you click through and enrol, your contract is with Udemy. Udemy takes the payment, holds your account, delivers the course, provides student support, and applies its own Terms of Use and refund policy. We are the instructor on that platform and nothing more.
4.3 Refunds are Udemy’s. We cannot issue, approve, expedite or override a refund. Requests go to Udemy support. At the time of writing Udemy operates a 30-day refund policy, but that policy is Udemy’s to change, and the version on Udemy’s site governs, not this sentence.
4.4 Prices are Udemy’s. Prices shown on our pages are what we believe to be correct when the page was built. Udemy sets and changes prices, runs its own promotions, and prices differently in different countries. The price at Udemy’s checkout is the price. If our page and Udemy disagree, Udemy is right.
4.5 Course availability is not guaranteed. A course may be updated, retitled, withdrawn or restricted by us or by Udemy at any time.
5. Free courses and coupons
5.1 We publish free and discounted coupons for our own courses. To receive one you give us your email address and confirm it.
5.2 The limits are real and they are not ours. Udemy allows an instructor a fixed number of coupons per course per calendar month, and caps how many times a free coupon can be redeemed and for how long it stays valid. When an allocation is exhausted we cannot create another until the next month. We will always tell you the actual cap; we will never invent one.
5.3 A coupon is personal to you. Do not post our codes to coupon-aggregation, deal-scraping or “free course” sites. That can breach Udemy’s rules and puts the courses at risk for everyone. We may void codes we find distributed that way.
5.4 A coupon gives you access to a course. It is not a payment, has no cash value, and cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, download, record, resell or redistribute our course content, in whole or in part;
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download this site, or use it to build a competing catalogue;
- submit false, automated or other people’s email addresses to our forms;
- interfere with the site’s operation, probe it for vulnerabilities, or attempt to access areas you are not authorised to use;
- use this site or our name to mislead anyone, including by implying we endorse something we do not.
We may suspend or block access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.
7. Intellectual property
7.1 The content of this site — text, layout, design, graphics, and our name and logo — belongs to LearnersCare or is licensed to us. You may read it, and link to it. You may not republish it as your own.
7.2 Course content on Udemy is licensed to enrolled students by Udemy on Udemy’s terms, for personal learning. Enrolment does not transfer any ownership to you and does not give you the right to teach, resell or redistribute the material.
7.3 Approved partners receive a limited, revocable licence to use the promotional materials we supply, for as long as they participate, and only for promoting LearnersCare. See the Affiliate Program Terms.
8. No guarantees about outcomes
8.1 Our course descriptions state what a course covers. They do not state, and must not be read as promising, what you will achieve.
8.2 We make no claim about income, employment, promotion, certification, examination results or any other outcome, for learners or for partners. Any figure we publish anywhere is either a price, a verifiable count we have sourced and dated, or an arithmetic illustration at our published rates — clearly labelled as such.
8.3 Our courses are educational. They are not legal, financial, medical, tax or professional advice, and using them does not create a professional relationship between us.
8.4 Some of our courses are produced with AI assistance, including AI-generated video presenters. Where that is so, it is disclosed on the course listing, as Udemy requires.
9. Disclaimers and liability
9.1 This site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every price or detail on it is current.
9.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to this site or these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us directly in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $100. Note that course purchases are paid to Udemy, not to us.
9.3 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunity, however caused.
9.4 Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of 9.1 to 9.3 may not apply to you.
9.5 We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of Udemy, or of any partner promoting us. Partners are independent contractors and do not speak for us.
10. Third-party links
Where we link to a site we do not operate — Udemy above all — we are not responsible for its content, its terms, or how it handles your data. Following a link is your decision, and that site’s terms apply once you are there.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify LearnersCare against claims, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site, or your infringement of anyone’s rights.
12. Changes, and ending access
12.1 We may change these terms. The “last updated” date reflects the current version. Material changes take effect 30 days after we post them, except where a change is required by law or by Udemy, which may take effect immediately. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the change.
12.2 We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of this site at any time. We may end your access where we reasonably believe you have breached section 6.
12.3 Sections 7, 8, 9, 11 and 13 survive the end of these terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
13.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
13.2 The state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and both parties consent to venue there. If you are a consumer resident in a country whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, that right is not affected.
13.3 Before filing anything, please email us. Most disputes are a misunderstanding and are cheaper to fix in a conversation.
13.4 If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder continues in force.
